Templemore Golf Club.
The Xmas Fare Competition was concluded today the 30th. Dec.
The weather and the course was exceptional for this competition which resulted in a good vibrant turn out.
The various handicap category for prizes were as follows;
0-14, 14-18, 19-22, 22-28.
The top clear winners were;
1st. Seamus Bourke 23Pts.
2nd. Paul Touhy 22pts.
All of the other results are subject to securitization and will be posted in the next issue.
The next committee meeting will be on Thursday 5th. Jan. 8pm. sharp.
Thanks to all of our members and those visiting for their support over 2016 and a happy and healthy 2017, with plenty of Golf.

Templemore golf seniors outing in Templemore on Thursday 29th. December.
Results as follows:
1st. J. Gleeson, T. O’ Toole, T. Foley, T. McGrath, 54 Points.
2nd. G. Keegan, B.O’ Rourke, F. Shortt, M. Carey, 49 points
3rd. D. Tuohy, S. Gleeson, J. Ryan, R.Cawley, 49 points ( count back )
The weather has been our friend once again with very calm and a mild day which contributed to a very enjoyable game of Golf for the Seniors.
There was an exceptional combination of coring for the winning team which made a difference in bringing in the top winning score results.
This was a fitting finish to the Golf year for the Seniors which was a great success throughout the year.
Thanks again to Phil Ryan and his team and all those involved that have made this event a vibrant success.
Our first competition in 2017 is next Thursday the 5th. of January in Templemore.
Usual time 10-1030am. Fee €5 which include Golf, Tea, Sandwich’s.
All visitors 55+ are more than welcome.
