The Xmas Fare Competition which concluded on the 30th. Dec.
and having securitised all the result, the winners are as follows;
0-14, H/C Seamus Bourke. 23pts.
15-18, H/C Paul Touhy. 22pts.
19-22, H/C Michael Webster. 18pts.
23-28, H/C Tommy Foley. 20pts.
Fixtures:
Sun. 1st, to Sat 14th. Jan. Stableford, 11holes, 1to 11. Fee €3.
Sun. 15th. Jan. Captains Drive-in. Draw for teams will be at 12.30, Tee-off at 1pm. Sharp.
Followed by a 9 hole Scramble.
Spring League will start after the drive-in, Players are to place their names on the sheet on the notice board.
Committee Meeting;
The 1st. committee meeting was on the 5th Jan. there was a full attendance, despite cold and flues on some of the members.
Congratulations to Club Captain, Martin Bohan for chairing what was an action and vibrant meeting.

The course is progressing well under the guidance of Liam Leahy and John Alexandra, both are to be congratulated for their commitment and dedication.

Seniors Report and Results Thurs. 5th. Jan.
Templemore golf seniors outing on Thursday 5th. January.
The first outing of 2017 for the seniors kicked off with 8 teams playing great golf.
The course was in excellent condition, resulting in exceptionally high standard of scoring, a complement to the course management and team.
Results as follows:
1st. G. Collins, F. Shortt, S. Lee, 50 Points.
2nd. G. Keegan, W. Haverty, J. Galvin, S. Gleeson, 49 points.
3rd. S. Bourke, P. Whelan,M. Maher, 48 points.
Plans are now been made for the away venues to be played in the coming year.
The importance of not clashing with Club competitions and inter club competitions will be taken on board in this regard.
The seniors usually play approx. 10% of their outings at away venues.
Last year we only missed two Thursdays due to bad weather conditions, but with divine intervention in this regard it was a great Golf year for the Seniors.
We trust 2017 will be even better.

Usual time 10-1030am. Fee €5 which include Golf, Tea, Sandwich’s.
All visitors 55+ are more than welcome.
