We had a very successful Vice Captain's prize on the Sept 10 & 11 this was a GOY stroke competition with Padraig Moloney emerging as the winner with 65 after a very consistent round with 2 birdies pars and a double bogey, Kevin Hassett was again the runner up with a score of 70 beating Seamus Bourke on countback. The clubs Dublin fan John Crowe was fourth winning his first club prize.

This weekend we had Wa 18 hole Stableford with Tim Shanahan winning with 34  defeating Hugh Scott on 35 pts on the junior rule.

It is full steam ahead this weekend with our major fundraising event our club classic. It is recommened that where possible club members should invite their friends from other clubs  to take part. The Thursday Seniors continues to attract great support with Joe O Connor, John Mullally, Jim Gleeson and John Browne winning on Thursday 8th. and  Gerry Keegan, Ml. Webster and Sean Gleeson the winners on last Thursday.. The seniors continue this Thursday and members are reminded of the forth comming outing to Rathdowney in October. Congratulations to Frankie Shortt, Eddie Butler and Liam Daly on their success in the LMC.
