Weekly News

Last weekend we concluded our very successful club classic which had to be postponed from the

previous weekend due to the adverse weather.. The classic was a tremendous success with 50 teams

entering and generous sponsorship from the local buisness community.The club is indebted to all who

made it so and in particular to our President John for the commitment he gave.

 

The Champagne Scramble format made it enjoyable and helped the pace of play as finding every lost ball was not vital and the results 

1st. John Mullally, Denis Tuohy, Paul Tuohy and Gerry Keegan on 103 pts.

2nd.Seamus Bourke, Paddy Bourke, Sean Lee and John Stapleton on 102pts.

3rd. Tim Touhy, Denis Touhy, Ger Keegan and Jerry Keegan on 101pts. ,

4th. Pat Maher, Tony Toole,Shauna Carroll and Martin Bohan on 101pts.

5th. Andrew Golden Mick Moore, Donal Golden and Pat O Connell on 96pts.

6th. Denis Ryan, Richie Tynan, Joe Fahy and Joey O Dwyer on 95 pts

7th. John Hassett, Ambrose Purcell, Andy Purcell and Eoin Collins on 95pts.

Seniors

 

The seniors have an outing to Rathdowney on Thursday tee time 9:45 to 11:15 draw on noticeboard and

please beat the course 30 mins before your tee time.The winners of last Thursdays Masters were Denis

Tuohy John Mullally and Pat O Connell.

Fixtures

If hollow tying of greens takes place this week we will hold an 18 hole stableford if not it will be a GOY

event 18 hole stroke.Players are reminded to complete thier matches in the Men's 4 ball and in the

McHugh Cup.
