Templemore Golf Club News;
Congratulations; Congratulations to Liam Daly on winning the “Golfer Of The Year” LMC, Senior Alliance Golf Society. Also Liam was the overall winner in Ballinasloe and took the LMC President Prize. Well done to you Liam. Also congratulations to Mick Carey for achieving 5th overall position. Well done to both and also to all the other club members who represented Templemore Golf Club throughout the year at the LMC fixtures. All are great ambassadors for the Club.
Fund Raising; Full support will be required for the “fund raising” “Dog Race Nite” in the Thurles Greyhound Track on Saturday night the 18th. November. Tickets will be available shortly. This will be a great Club Social Nite and a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for the purchase of new additional equipment and replacing old units. Full support is called on all members both ladies and Gents for this fundraising event. Fundraising will always be required to sustain the replacement of equipment. Private donations can also be processed through our web site. (refer to the Membership tab, select PP17=Pay Now)
Vice Captain Presentation Night; Will be held in the “Templemore Golf Club Lounge” on Friday 10th. November, all Ladies and Gents will be more than welcome to a great night of entertainment, banter, own bar and refreshments.
3T’s Finals; Congratulations and the best of luck on the 23rd. Oct. in the K-Club to the Templemore Golf Club team, Josie Bourke, Des Hennessy, Sadie Tynan and Jerry Keegan a proud occasion for you all and the Club.
Men’s Singles Match play; We are still waiting for the results of this event, now at the final stage; Jerry Keegan jnr. (Finalist) V (Conor Sheedy V Seamus Bourke). Seamus now back from warm sunshine environment training, it will be an exciting to see the finish to this event. Best of luck to all.

Ladies Golf; Francis Murphy’s Competition was held on Saturday October 7th. The weather conditions were ideal. There was a great turn out of Ladies. Results as follows. 1st. Mary Ann Maher. 2nd.
