SPRING LEAGUE.

 6/4.  After 4 weeks of intense activity helped by dry weather it all came down to the final day.  Team Div 1: 1st. Team 10, 369pts, 2nd. Team 8, 368 pts, 3rd. tie Team 16 and Team18 365 pts.

Div 2: 1st. Team 13, 359 pts, 2nd. Team 9, 350 pts.  Overall individual, 1st. Liam Daly 155Pts., 2nd. P Gleeson 148Pts, 3rd. tie between J Fitzpatrick and Donal Golden 146Pts.
Aggregate team: Team 5, 493Pts.   Presentation of prizes in conjunction with Social Mixed on Wednsday 9th. April. Please attend as you have supported the League – in numbers.  Well done all, a fantastic contribution to the club revenues.  A special appreciation to Les Mason for all his algorithms in sorting the scores and a very special appreciation to the League Manager and motivator, our competition secretary Tom McGrath for the very professional running of the event. TEAM GOLF.

22/4.   JB Carr (over 60’s) are first out when they play away in Nenagh on Tuesday 22nd. at 1.30pm. John Stapleton is the man in charge of getting things off to a good start. Best of luck John and to all the team.

 

SOCIAL MIXED. 

9/4.  Resumes Wednesday next 9th. April. Entry via WhatsApp by 7 pm. On Tuesdays .  Entry €5, pay on the night. Refreshments after play.  All golfers are very welcome to this wonderful social event.

Templemore Golf Club L.R. Lady vice-Captain 2026 Michelle Hassett and Lady Captain 2025 linking up for a great years in Ladies Golf.

Golf is for everyone.

Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.  Playing golf regularly can help you, stay fit, improve muscle tone and endurance,  lose weight and body fat. 4th. April.  The proposed social gathering in Tom Keneallys has been postponed until Friday April 4th. Please give full support to this event organised by Tommy Foley to raise funds for the Club. BRING A FRIEND.

 

Spring League.

27th. April.  To give all players the best possible chance to play, Week 4 will start this Thursday and run to Sunday 6th April. Play will be over holes 3 to 16 off white markers. Use “Green indices”. Results for Wk. 2 is posted on club members WhatsApp. This includes all teams and players performance. Much appreciated to Les Mason for his constant algorithm skills.  Encourage your team mates to get in a score no matter how low,  every point counts.  Contact Tom McGrath for any details.
