Mc Hugh Cups 2019;  The McHugh Cups, 9hole Stableford between Saturday 30th. November and Sunday 8th. December. Pairings are listed on the notice board in Ladies and Gents locker rooms.  All are requested to complete their game as soon as possible.  Best of luck to all.

 

Christmas Hamper Competition 2019.  The Christmas Hamper Competition 2019 will take place from Sat.16th. to Sunday 8th. December.  11 Hole S\Ford.  Entries €5. Re entries €3.  1st Prize will be hampers to the winning pair each.  Singles, 1st Prize another Hamper.  3 massive hampers. Sponsored by O’Connell’s Centra, Templemore. Much appreciated to Liam and all his staff.  2nd prize, €50 voucher, 3rd to 5th. Prizes €25 vouchers.  Best of luck to all.

 

AGM;  The AGM will be on Thursday 12th. December at 8pm. All members are welcome to attend.

 

Senior Golf Results;   Thursday 21st.  Seniors outing has been postponed due to the weather condition of the course. See you all next week.

“Cadets Membership” ;   You can join the Golf Cadets anytime from the age of 8 to 13 Boys and Girls and Cadet youths Age 14 to 18 Boys and Girls.   All members who have a junior family member that has an interest in Golf should encourage them to call in on Wed and Friday’s.  If new to the game, clubs will be made available to those that do not have them.  This is an opportunity to build members for the future of the Club.  All training will be in association with CGI (Confederation of Golf Ireland) guidelines and will continue throughout the year.  Do your best to promote this venture.  A special practice range is now in place for the Cadets.  Contact Pat O’ Connell. 087-9205821 Club Juvenile Liaison Officer. Come along if you are interested in playing Golf

Senior Golf Results;   Seniors was called off last Thursday due to inclement weather.  All senior Golfers including nonmembers are more than welcome to join, just call in any Thursday Morning at 10am and you will be very welcomed.

Templemore Golf Club News; 

 

Golf Society; Templemore Golf Club hosted the renowned “White Dowling Golf Society” Bill Sheehan Memorial on Saturday 26. Bill was a great supporter of the society and his memory still lives very strong in the society. The weather was perfect, and the course was in excellent condition which created a very competitive competition.  The results were; 1st.   John Galvin.  2nd. John Moloughney.  3rd. Ewan Scott.  4th. Pat McCabe.

Senior Golf Results;   Seniors results Thursday 31st.  We had another excellent turnout of 7 team’s.  In 1st. place with 48pt. were Eddie Butler, Tom Hogan, Mick Carey, & PJ Leahy.  2nd. with 47pts.  Liam Daly, Jim Gleeson, & Mick Murphy.  and 3rd. with 46pts.  Paudie Butler, Pascal Whelan, Joe O’Connor, & James Murray. We hope to have some information about our Xmas Party next Thursday.  All senior Golfers are more than welcome to join, just call in any Thursday Morning at 10am and you will be very welcomed.

 

Congratulations;  To JK Brackens on winning their 1st. “Seamus O’Riain” County Hurling Championship and Borrisoleigh winning the County Senior Hurling Championship both on Sunday 3rd .  Also, the best of luck to the JK Brackens in their quest to win the Tipperary Senior County Football title this weekend and to all the Templemore Golf Club members involved in both.
