Breda Murphy 90th Birthday Celebrated at Templemore Golf Club.
12/8. A very special celebration took place at the Social Mixed in Templemore Golf Club on Wednesday, August 12, when members surprised Breda Murphy with flowers and a birthday cake to mark her forthcoming 90th birthday.
Breda is one of the club’s most dedicated and valued members. She plays a vital role in organising the senior golf every Monday and is also a familiar face in the winners’ enclosure, regularly featuring among the prize winners.
Her contribution extends well beyond the fairways. Every Wednesday evening, Breda is at the heart of the hugely successful Social Mixed, taking entries and helping to organise the tea, sandwiches and social gathering afterwards in the clubhouse. Having been a member of Templemore Golf Club for an incredible 51 years, Breda’s commitment, enthusiasm and service to the club are truly remarkable. Much loved and highly respected by fellow members, she remains an integral part of club life and is, in every sense, one in a million.
