We now look forward to the coming week events with the spot of brisk sunshine, commencing with the Men’s open seniors on Thursday and every Thursday at 10am. Men’s Seniors.
6/11. Well the weather was kind to us, even balmy for November and a great turn out of Balmy players saw 8 teams take to the course. In 1st. place with a really impressive 57 points were Pat Looby, Liam Daly, James Murray and Seamus Ryan. In 2nd. place with 54 points was Declan Russell, Pat O’Connell, Tom Hogan and Jimmy Middleton and the 3rd. step on the rostrum was taken with 51 points by Sean Cashman, Mickie Webster, Paddy Fogarty and Jim Casey. A majority then adjourned to the Club House for tea cake and general good cheer. Well plated all.

Templemore Golf Club Seniors, in appreciation to the National Sports Capital Funding..
Men’s Seniors.
29/10. On a wet miserable day on Thursday. The Seniors turned out in strength and in admiration of the sports Capital funding Posters. Complements to Declan Kennedy and Eamonn Connolly, The funding improved the drainage of the course to allow longer winter play, much appreciated by the seniors and members. Also update on equipment to improve course playing conditions. Over the last week it was well tested. 8Teams ventured out in difficult weather conditions. With no bonus points on offer the scoring was a good, 1st. 48 pts. Mick Carey, Ambrose Purcell and Jim Middleton. 2nd. 46 pts Pat Looby, Pat O Connell and James Murray. 3rd. 45 pts. Bertie Keane, John Stapleton and John Egan. Congratulations all.
