Templemore Golf Club Ladies Invite Women to “Get Into Golf”

Templemore Golf Club Ladies are extending a warm and welcoming invitation to women across the area to take part in their upcoming Get Into Golf  Women’s Programme, a six week initiative designed to introduce newcomers to the game and encourage those who may be returning after time away.

Starting on Tuesday, May 5th at 7pm, the programme offers a relaxed, friendly and social introduction to golf in a supportive environment. Participants will enjoy professional coaching from a PGA Professional, along with opportunities to meet members of the club and take part in enjoyable social activities, helping to build confidence both on and off the course.

Golf is a sport that offers lifelong benefits, fresh air, gentle exercise, mental wellbeing and strong social connections and this programme is all about making the game accessible and enjoyable for women of all ages and abilities. No previous experience is required, and all equipment can be provided, making it an ideal first step into the sport.

At a cost of €60 for the full six weeks, the programme represents excellent value and a fantastic opportunity to try something new in a welcoming club setting. The Ladies’ Committee is eager to grow its women’s community and is encouraging members of the public to spread the word among friends, family and colleagues who might be curious about giving golf a go.

For more information or to register, interested participants are invited to contact Lady Captain Michelle Hassett on 087 614 5224. With enthusiasm high and preparations well underway, Templemore Golf Club Ladies are looking forward to seeing plenty of new faces around the club this summer.
