Templemore Golf Club News;

18 hole Singles, Commence on Saturday 4^th. and Sunday 5^th. July. There was a fantastic turn out for this event as it was the 1^st. 18 hole competition post the Covid-19 restriction. The results were very competitive between the top 5 players as follows; 1^st. Michael Keely 34pts. 2^nd. Bernie O’Rourke 34pts. 3^rd. Albie Egan 34pts. 4^th. John McGrath 33pts. 5^th. John Greed 33 pts. Congratulations to all.

Spring League; The spring League is now back in full action after a long recess due to the Covid-19. Round 1 is now complete and round 2 is now in competition from 29^th.June to 11^th. July. Round 3; 6^th. to 18^th. July. Final Week, Round 4; 13^th. to 25^th. July. Entry fee €20 for 1^st. 4 weeks, Re-entries @ €3 each week. Results for round 1 is now on display in the club house and on the club “WhatsApp” Anyone not able to play and substitutes that want to play Contact Competition Secretary. Dinny Tuohy 085-2842067. New On-Line Tee Booking; The club new “Online Booking System” can be accessed on our Web site; www.templemoregolfclub.ie no access to the course will be allowed without booking through the new system. Visitors can contact info@templemoregolfclub.ie to request Tee times or link up with an existing member.

Seniors Results; Thursday 3rd. An excellent turnout again with 40 players taken part and a few high scores. 1^st. with 56pts. John Hassett, Jim Gleeson, Mick Carey, Liam Daly. 2^nd. with 55pt. Bertie Keane, Philip Ryan, Frankie Shortt, Tom Kennedy. 3^rd. place with 49pts. Declan Russell, Pascal Whelan, George Collins, and Ambrose Purcell.
