Registrations for Winter League are now been collected.  The application notice list is available in the locker room.  You can also register on the Members  WhatsApp channel by 6pm on Thursday 3^rd Nov.  Teams of 4. Entry €20 (covering 4 rounds) re-entry €3

Weekend Competition.

16^th. Oct. After a terrible weekend weather conditions a few hardy souls ventured out and the results are 1^st. with 33 points, Les Mason and 2^nd. with 32 points, was Jodie Boyle. the 50/50 draw was carried over

 

Up and Coming Competitions:

Sat 22^nd. & Sun 23^rd. October, 18 hole Stableford, entry €5 lift. clean and place fairways only.

Fri 28th, Sat 29th, Sun 30^th. & Mon. 31^st. October, 18 hole Waltz (Three [3] Person Team).  €5 per member of the team. Re-entry €5 as many times as you like in as many teams as you like. Placing everywhere, Bunkers out of play

Men’s Seniors Club Classic.

20^th. Oct. Well on an unexpected lovely day in Templemore, 8 teams ventured out and returned some great scores. In 1st place Paddy Bourke, Seanie Gleeson, Joe (reminder) Hennesey and Pascal Whelan. In 2^nd. on Countback with 51 points, Paudie Butler, John Mullally, George Collins and Paddy Nolan. 3^rd. also on 51pts. Paddy Fogarty, Tom Kennedy, Colm Dooley and Seamus Ryan. A date for the diary after golf on the 15th December we have booked Murphys for Christmas dinner from 2pm, and I will try to remember to remind you all before then take care all.

 

Ladies Golf;

18^th. Oct. 18hole Stableford.  1st. Margaret Costigan 33pts. 2^nd. Niamh Connolly 32 pts.  3^rd. Mary Hayes 32 pts.

Men’s Seniors Club Classic.

13^th. Oct. On a fantastic Autumnal day for golf where the only issue was leaves and the Sun ( a nice complaint) 8 teams strolled around and the conditions gave us some great shooting so on count back in 1^st. place with 57 points Bertie Keane, Ollie Murray, Mick Murphy and Paddy Nolan, in 2^nd. also with 57 points,  Jim Gleeson, Seanie Gleeson, Colm Dooley and Christie O’Rourke. In 3rd place with 53 points, Bernie O’Rourke, John Mullally, John Galvin and Willie Haverty again a special thanks to Rody Cawley for looking after our catering..

Men’s Seniors Club Classic.

6^th. Oct. On a day that the weather tried as hard as it might to wet the 8 teams out but failed and the winners with 54 points were Jim Gleeson, Frankie Shortt,  Mick Murphy and Phil Ryan (Snr.) in Second Place with 52 points Paddy Bourke, Oliver Murray, Gerry Hayes and Paddy Nolan.  There were 3 teams on 47 points so in third on count back were Tom McGrath, Bernie O’Rourke, and Jim Gilmartin. Well played all. Thanks to Rody Cawley for looking after us so well with the catering. The Seniors will be making a donation to the “Scoil Naomh Cualán” Golf Classic..
