8/1/26. Templemore Golf Club Seniors AGM and End-of-Year Celebration.
Templemore Golf Club Seniors held their annual AGM in Murphys Pub, followed by a highly enjoyable end-of-year celebration meal and entertainment. The social occasion was enhanced by performances from club members Tommy Foley and Jim Casey, whose contribution ensured an excellent night of music and camaraderie.
During the evening, founder member Phil Ryan paid a sincere and moving tribute to the late Rody Cawley, acknowledging his invaluable advisory role in the establishment of the Templemore Golf Club Seniors section and his lasting contribution to its success.
The event was hosted by current Seniors Captain Les Mason, who carried out his role with great warmth, wit and professionalism, adding greatly to the enjoyment of the night. Les Mason and Pat O’Connell currently serve as joint manages of the Seniors section. Les oversees the smooth organisation and running of all Seniors competitions, while Pat O’Connell manages the financial affairs. Both men were warmly commended for their diligence, commitment and dedication, which continues to play a vital role in the ongoing success and strong spirit of the Templemore Golf Club Seniors.

23/1/26. The AGM of Templemore Golf Club will take place at 7:30pm on Friday 23rd of January 2026 in the golf clubhouse. The AGM provides an important opportunity to review the Club’s activities over the past year, consider financial and governance matters, and outline plans for the year ahead. It also allows members to raise questions, offer feedback, and participate in the future direction of the Club. Attendance and involvement are strongly encouraged, as the continued success of Templemore Golf Club relies on the support and engagement of its members.
