Club Flags Ceremony.

20/7.  The ceremonial hoisting of the club flags by Captain John Greed, President Sean Cashman and Lady President Michelle Hassett. The Club Colours, Irish Tricolour and the County Flags are a proud and visible statement of our identity and heritage. Flying prominently, the flags not only enhance the appearance of the grounds but also promote the club to members, visitors and passers-by alike. Together they represent our club, our county and our country, creating a strong sense of pride, belonging and tradition while providing valuable year-round exposure for the club. Special thanks to Vice Captain Declan Russell , Marian Keely for the Flags and Tony O’Toole for the reconstruction.

Mixed Foursomes.

25/7.  Hard luck to our Mixed Foursomes Team, whose excellent campaign came to an end following a tremendous battle against East Cork on Friday evening.  In a closely contested match, the Templemore players displayed outstanding determination, commitment and team spirit from start to finish, refusing to give in and fighting for every hole right to the very end.

While disappointment will naturally be felt at falling just short of a final appearance, everyone involved can be immensely proud of their achievements in reaching the semi-final stage of the competition. Their dedication, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the season were a credit to both themselves and the club.

Congratulations to all the players and panel members on a fantastic run and on representing Templemore Golf Club with such distinction.  Lady Captain Michelle Hassett  and Club Captain John Greed expressed their pride in the team, praising the players for their unwavering effort, positive attitude, and determination throughout the campaign. Well done to all involved on a memorable journey and a semi-final appearance to be proud of.
