Templemore Golf Club News;    

 

AIG Pierce Purcell Shield, in Clonmel Golf Club on Saturday May 25.  The Templemore Pierce Purcell Impressive Team -V- Ballykisteen In Clonmel displayed great effort by all but unfortunately the day was not in their favor.  The victory 4-1 went to Ballykisteen. This consistent impressive competitive team players are to be congratulated in giving up their time in a commitment to the success of Templemore Golf Club in the competitive golf arena.  Also a great appreciation to their manager Mick Keely.  All are proud representatives for Templemore Golf Club.

 

Ladies Golf;  Congratulations to the Ladies who played Thurles in the first round of the Boyne trophy.  A great win and we look forward with confidence to the next round.

 

Fred Perry Trophy;  Round 2, Tuesday May 28 in Ballykisteen.  Best of luck to Seanie Gleeson and his team to a great success.   First match at 4pm. -V- Ballykisteen.

Saturdays & Sundays Week End Competition;  The 18hole Stableford on Saturdays and Sundays is now in full motion.  The course is in excellent condition, so great scores are expected.   Link up with other available players by using the Club “Whats App”

 

Weekly Open On-Going 9hole Competition;   A weekly open on-going competition commenced on Monday 13th. May.  Ideal for players who can only get their game in the evenings and is also open to all players and will be more than welcome.  Details on Locker room notice board.

Mixed Social Golf ;  Wed 22.. May. The Social Mixed Golf 9 holes is now in full swing every Wednesday Evening,  Registration 6.30pm .  Wed 22. May. 1st Team. George Murray, Declan Kennedy, Mary Hogan.  2nd Team;  Niall Moloney, Mary Fitzpatrick, Declan Russell.  Congratulations to all.

 

“Cadet” Section;   Enrollment will commence shortly for Boys and Girls under 15 years also for youths from 15 to 18.  All current members should promote this great initiative. Ladies and Gents who want to be involved in this great project for the future of the club will have to complete a “Vetting Form” it would be fantastic if, as many as possible would support the development of the Cadet sector in our club under the guidance of CGI, (Confederation of Golf Ireland).  Completed form can be placed in the “FEE” box in the locker room or contact Pat O’ Connell. 087-9205821 Club Juvenile Liaison Officer.

Beginner Special Rate.  There is a “Special limited Fee” for beginners which is guaranteed not to change for 3 years.  This is very attractive for anyone new interested in joining and for those purchasing vouchers to give a life changing experience to someone.  New members are now been accepted.  All current members are encouraged to introduce at least “ONE NEW MEMBER” Lady or Gent, Junior or Student, Seniors Juveniles and Family, Active Retiree’s, Special Needs or any person interested in taking up the sport.  It will be a huge advantage to building the club membership and profile.

 

Lapsed Members are more than Welcome Back; 

A special rate for “Lapsed Members” that have not played/joined for “One Year” can avail of a “welcomed back” once-off, special rate of €200 and Ladies €170.
