Templemore Golf Club News;
President Prize, Saturday 30th. Sept. Both Ladies and Gents. This event will be an 18hole Stableford and the last Golf Social event of this season. Therefore it is expected that all Club Members will attend. As the evenings will be getting shorter, any Gents that are available to play on Friday 29th. will be appreciated. Ladies tee off will be on Saturday Only. The presentations will be in the Templemore Arms on Sat Night 30th. with great entertainment. There will be no admission fee so all members are encouraged to bring all the families and friends to what will be a great social night.
Presidents Social Mixed: “The Presidents Social Mixed on this Sunday 24th. The Draw will commence at 10.30am and not at 2pm as advertised” All golfers are welcome to this special event, bring a friend.”
Time Sheets; Time sheets will be placed for the Presidents Prize for Fri. 29th. and Sat. 30th. Place your preference time on the time-sheet to avoid delays.

Ladies Events; Ladies calendar for September is as follows:
Tuesday September 19th. and 26th. Club competitions.
Sunday September 24th. The President’s Social mixed will take place with the draw at 2pm. The 18 hole competitions will continue for the moment with the last draw at 5pm.
Saturday September 30th. Lady President Maura Sheehan’s prize will take place with draw time starting at 1pm .Please ensure that you write your name on the list in the clubhouse before Tuesday Sept 26th to be included in the draw.
3 T’s. Congratulations to Lady Captain Josie and Sadie Tynan who qualified in the 3T regional competition in Dundrum, they will now play in the final in the K Club.

Retirees, Seniors that want to take up this great game: All it takes in Templemore is 2 hours of your time to complete this very competitive 9 hole course. You can call in anytime at your convenience (No Time Sheet Necessary) and get a game and be assured that you will be more than welcome. If you do not have Clubs and want to get started contact any golf club member and you will get a start-up kit and you will be more than welcome

Volunteers; If you want an physical exercise hobby become a golf club volunteer. You will always be more than welcome in helping with the presentation of the course. Just check in with the course Volunteer organiser, John Stapleton 086-0894718 to offer any skills that will make improvements i.e. Grass Cutting, Bunker Raking, Strimming of all edges, Drains, Pat-ways and Bunkers, Carpentry, Maintenance or others, or just turn up at your own convenience. All will be appreciated.

Place, Mick Keely. It’s great to see 3 of our members still competing in the top 5 of this event. Well done to all. You are a credit to the Club.
Nenagh Results 11th. Sept; 1st. Overall Winner; Bertie Keane. Category Winners; 3rd. in Class 2, Liam Daly. It is always a great profile for the club to see some of its members in this prestigious winning circle.
