The JB Carr Team.
17th July. The JB Carr team gave a gallant display tonight, but lost 3 to 2 to Dungarvan Golf Club, who now go into the regional final. Thanks to the managers Mick Carey, Liam Daly and all the team for the commitment and entertainment they provided us with over the last couple of months. It is very much appreciated.

19th. Wed. Result of Captain Declan’s Kennedys social mixed. First Helen Hayes, Evelyn Lyons, Michael Fogarty, with 24.9. Second, John Hassett, Michael Purcell ,and Mary Anne Maher. with 27.5. Third. Mary O Connor, Liam Daly, and Tom Ryan, with 27.7. great turnout many thanks to all.
Men’s Senior Golf.
20th. Thurs. The Seniors showed their support for Captain Declan with a great turn out and the weather decided to be kind also. The course in fantastic condition aided great scoring. The Ten teams contributed to a great day. The winner with 54 points was John Hassett, George Collins, Christy O’Rourke and Paddy Nolan. The Second and Third teams both scored 53 points and had to go down to the last 3 to separate them so in Second was Liam Daly, Mick Murphy, Tom Ryan and Ollie Murray and Third were Sean Cashman, Tony O’Toole, Les Mason and John Stapleton. Thanks to Captain Declan Kennedy for supplying the prizes for today.
Sympathy.
18th. July. We offer our sincere sympathies to Pat Costelloe, our Past Captain, President and founder member of the Club, to his wife Mary and all the Costelloe family on the death of their son Brendan. Lived in Tralee and formerly Templemore. May he rest in peace.
Seamus Cody Cup.
19th. July. Mick Cary had a faultless victory over Tony O’Toole. His accuracy to the greens and putting was superb. He will now challenge the Knock Out Semi Final between Paul Touhy V Michael Delaney.
Juvenile Academy.
17th. July. Lessons will continue on Monday at 10 am. Cost €5. Lessons for Beginner Ladies will follow at 11 am. It is hoped to run the lessons for 6 or 7 weeks. Contact Pat O’Connell 087-9205821 by Text or just arrive on the day at 9.45 am.
